Leonard Nimoy, Mr. Spock on ‘Star Trek’, You Will Be Sorely Missed

Around the world everyone including actors, astronauts, writers, Star Trek fans, sci-fi movie fans, and many many others poured out their emotions on social media Friday as news broke that Leonard Nimoy, Mr. Spock from ‘Star Trek’ TV series had died.

His face and his character in the famous sci-fi series is hard to forget.

His farewell Twitter message was poetic – “A life is like a garden.” He sent this tweet just a day before he was admitted at the hospital.

Nimoy will be missed by the world. Last year Nimoy publicly announced he was suffering from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. This is something he attributed to years of smoking.

Today, as he travels to uncharted territories, beyond our galaxy, stars and everything we know, we can only appreciate the memories he is leaving behind for us to cherish.

At this moment we can truly appreciate Spock’s iconic refrain: “Live long and prosper.

We can say that he did just that during his time on this planet of ours – Earth.
